This is indeed a wonderful news to share about the father, son and daughter of a Sherpa family who jointly scaled the world’s highest peak.

The Guinness World Records (GWR) has recognized a combined summit from the three members of a Sherpa family on Mt Everest as an amazing feat.

The Guinness World Records Certificate issued to Sherpa father, son and daughter. 

 

 

The GWR issued a certificate to Tenzing Dorjee Sherpa, his son Sonam Tashi and his daughter Pasang Kanchhi of Phortse village in the Everest region stating that the trio set the world record by scaling the world's highest peak on May 23, 2021.

Tenzing Dorjee, proud father, had climbed Mt Everest in 1993. So far, he has climbed Mt Everest 13 times,

According to GWR, this is the first-ever successful summit jointly by father, son and daughter.
